The crystal clear sea, with more than 100 km of coastline, rocky cliffs, long sandy beaches and secluded bays, sometimes only accessible by boat or by foot, is of exceptional beauty. An annual “Bandiera Blu” rating guarantees the best water quality.
Cilento can be considered “the best kept secret in Italy”. Between the wildest manifestations of nature there are small authentic fishing villages along the coast and medieval farming villages on top of the inland hills. Cilento’s National Park covers more than 1800km2 and is located on the Tyrrhenian coast south of Naples and was declared a Unesco World Heritage Site in 1998.

Ancient Culture
Over the centuries, Cilento has been shaped by many different peoples and cultures. Magna Graecia was the name of the Greek colonies in southern Italy. Here you will also find old temples and excavations from that time.
Wild beauty
The landscape is spectacular with mountains of over 1,800 metres high but only a few kilometres from the sea, with orchards, vineyards, olive trees and dense forests in between. Its biodiversity is one of the largest in the world, with more than 200 different species of wild orchids and 90% of the medicinal and culinary herbs that grow in wild.
Active in Cilento
