Are you looking for a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle, reconnect with nature and reflect on what really matters? Then you have come to the right place.

We – a Dutch/Italian-German couple – left busy society over a decade ago to live a more conscious, simpler life. In the unspoilt hills of southern Italy, in the middle of the Cilento National Park, we built a self-sufficient place with two comfortable studio-apartments. Here there is silence, authenticity and space to catch your breath.

Perfect Location…

We stayed in the ecolodge for three days and we very much enjoyed our stay. The hosts are friendly and welcoming and the apartment is clean and spacious with an incredible view. Location is perfect, in the middle of the nature, but yet not too far from Paestum, the coast or charming mountain villages.

Life changing experience….

We spent two weeks at the Ecolodge and had the most amazing time. From the moment we stepped through their door we were welcomed with wonderful food, great conversation and a fantastic way of life. We are both inspired by Linda and Gianni’s lifestyle and we can only aspire to do something similar ourselves. Both have great knowledge. Linda also knows about the medicinal benefits of wild herbs and plants whilst Gianni is a master of bread baking, both of which we enjoyed learning about. The studio we stayed in was also beautiful. A small paradise…

Selvitelle is a small paradise, which is beautiful, quiet and secluded in the national park. There are olive trees, fruit trees and a beautiful vegetable garden and many wild herbs. The apartments are really lovely, clean and modernly furnished. We are very thankful that we got to know you.

A remote italian paradise…

Linda and Gianni are working hard to develop their Italian paradise and we enjoyed our 3 weeks on their remote property. Linda is happy to share her extensive knowledge of the medicinal and culinary uses for a wide variety of plants. Gianni is a fantastic baker and cook and willingly shares his recipes. We have fond memories of his lemon tiramisu.The accommodation is private and comfortable. We enjoyed Linda and Gianni’s company and will be interested to see how their Eco Lodge develops. Their favorite pizzeria serves the best pizza in Italy!

Perfect place for nature lovers

Gianni and Linda are very friendly and chilled out couple. It was a pleasure to stay with them and if I ever come back to Italy I’d be happy to visit them again. Gianni is a very good cook and I really enjoyed having dinner and wine together. The area is really green, full of forest walks and trekking paths and there are some nice hills and villages to explore. I highly recommend going left on trekking path and following it around the lake and through an empty river bed, really nice walk. It’s a perfect place for nature lovers. Thank you for everything!

During our sabbatical year we stayed with Linda and Gianni for two weeks and felt very comfortable. We benefited greatly from the knowledge and experience of both of them. They did everything they could to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Gianni and Linda are very interesting people: uncomplicated, relaxed and humorous. The shared meals (all extremely delicious !!) were a good opportunity for intense discussions. The two have created a little paradise for themselves over the years and lead a largely independent life. We were very impressed.

Loved the rural silence

Linda and Gianni are amazing people! I just stayed at there place for 2 weeks, but I learnt a lot. Linda knows so much about useful herbs and medical plants and is happy to share her knowledge.
Gianni is a passionate cook and apart from many other delicious food he loves doing ice cream with fresh fruits. Thanks for teaching me your cooking skills with fresh vegetables from the garden (I really loved to eat fiori di zucca!).
The place is wonderful. It is in the middle of nature and I enjoyed every morning to wake up in a calm and meditative place surrounded by nature. I can definitly recommend this place for people who want a time to reflect, and live a simple way of life. I really appreciated the conversations with both of you! Thank you so so much for all Linda and Gianni. I am so happy that I met and could learn from you and I hope to see you soon!
